The Wuchang bream ( Megalobrama amblycephala; ) is a species of freshwater Actinopterygii belonging to the family Xenocyprididae, the East Asian minnows or sharpbellies. This species is found in bodies of water throughout the Yangtze basin, China, including Liangzi Lake.
